Terms and Conditions for use of the Rants Section. (legal agreement)

For the duration of this document the following terms are to be defined as follows:

1. Content - text and/or any images, photographs, graphics or any other form of information available on or submitted to the proprietor of the website by means of internet service providers.
2. Site - the pages of text and images available for public viewing on the internet at the location http://www.pobice.co.uk/( also http://pobice.co.uk, http://p0bice.co.uk adn http://www.p0bice.co.uk) and any other site with the Pobice copyright at the bottom of the page
3. Website - as ‘Site’ above, or to other such pages available on the internet.
4. You - a member of the public either viewing the content of the site located and/or a member of the public wishing to submit personal information to this site using the forms provided, or by direct e-mail.
5. Us - the main authors and proprietors of the site, who are responsible for editing the content of such site (with the exceptions outlined below).
6. We - as ‘Us’ above

The following terms and conditions apply to this website located at http://www.pobice.co.uk/ (or any other sites under the pobice copyright) and specifically apply to personal content submitted for publication on the site by members of the public. All conditions represent a legally binding contract between you (as a visitor to the site wishing to use this site) and us (as proprietors of the site)

Here at Pobice the goblin we try to provide the best service possible to you. No members of the Pobice team may be held accountable for any damages that may result for the use of this site, or from any information you may post on this site either using the forms provided, or by means of e-mail. The following documents outlines what information is gathered and the Terms and Conditions for using the rant (which can be identified by the word Rants followed by a version number in the top right hand corner of the each page) section of the site.

Information Automatically Logged

Whenever you use the site our systems automatically log some information about you (more so your computer, we can gain no personnel information from the system), which is then used to make broad demographic information for use in our statistical system. This is then used to work out the number of visitors to this site, and how they got here (via a search engine etc). The server running this Web site also logs your IP address, but this is only looked at for purposes of problem cause diagnosis for the web pages. All logs tend to be only kept for a period of one week, when they are deleted after that. Although we cannot guarantee this time period, as occasionally equipment problems or minor content changes may require or inadvertently cause information to be retained for longer periods, we will not intentionally retain any specific personal information for longer than this period. However, data compiled from the logged information in the form of published and unpublished statistics will be retained, although this includes no direct references to your IP address, or any other way we can identify you directly. We do not and will not pass on any of this information to any Third Parties whatsoever.

Advertisements

This site costs money to run. Therefore to try and regain some of the cost we have some commercial advertising on the site. These adverts are not under our control, and some may contain cookies, to which we have no access. They also may log some details from your browser, but again we do not have any control of, or access to, such logs. We also, where possible, try not to have pop-ups or pop-under advertisements on our site. If you notice such and advertisement on the site, please contact us about this advert and we will try to remove it from the site (where possible).

We are not responsible for the contents of these sites, nor any information of yours that they may collect (nor do we have access to such information) . If you find a link which you feel is breaching your rights, or the content provided is in bad taste / illegal then please email us about it and we will look into it, and may, entirely at our own choice, remove hypertext links to such websites.

Submitting Information:

1. By submitting information to the site for publication, using the forms provided on the site or via email, you are waiving your rights over the information. Such information (in the form presented and held by this site) becomes the intellectual property of the main proprietor of the website, Mr Robert Naylor, and Mr Naylor retains copyright over all submitted information, published or otherwise. However this does not stop you posting such information via other methods / websites, provided you do not use any of the formatting we have applied to such information.
2. Do not post abuse or offensive material of any kind; especially avoid directing such attacks against other members.

If you feel that your rights have been compromised in any way, or you have been libeled in any way by content of the site, we ask that you contact us via any of the published contact e-mail addresses, and after consideration, we may remove the content from the site, if we feel that the complaint is justified and genuine. If we suspect that certain members of the public are intentionally abusing this system by maliciously and continually attempting to have content submitted by particular individuals removed, we reserve the right to fail to publish any further submissions by this person to the site
4. We reserve the right to, at any time, discontinue the service, change the terms and conditions of posting to the site, edit or alter any information submitted and remove, in part or its entirety, any information submitted, without notice.

Please remember that any information that is disclosed in the rants section becomes public information (except e-mail address, which are used for internal purposes only) and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information, we are not responsible for anything posted in the rants section which may include personal information submitted by members of the public, not any consequences of posting such information.
6. All information you submit to the site can be used for any purpose except those of degrading the author of the material. No information will be sold / given away without the authors permission (assuming they have left a valid email address).
